Artist Feature: Jayda G

Canadian-born, London-based DJ/producer Jayda G recently burst onto our radar with her stellar 2-part EP, Both Of Us / Are U Down [via Ninja Tune], which is a fantastic blend of classic Chicago house with an uplifting modern deep house twist. Renowned for her high-energy DJ performances - Jayda G has played all over the world, including a stellar Boiler Room set at Dekmantel in 2017 [Watch] and Glastonbury. In 2018 she completed her Masters in Resource and Environmental Management in her native British Columbia. That same year she finished recording her debut album Significant Changes [Listen]. Now she’s back with her first big release of 2020 and it might just be one of our favorite house releases this year.
